Jason and Erika have been married for seventeen years. Together, along with their two teenagers, they’ve lived and ministered in three parts of Grey County.
Erika’s friendly, full-of-life personality, has guided her into various pursuits through the years. She’s taught in a private school, launched and managed an online business, and most recently has completed her Master of Theological Studies in preparation for pastoral ministry. Along with being co-pastor at BMCC, Erika is also the chaplain at Lee Manor long-term care home in Owen Sound. Erika enjoys coffee with friends, a good book by a fire, and backcountry camping.
Jason’s thoughtful and insightful ways have led him down many professional ministry paths. He’s been a pastor, a Bible College lecturer, and he is currently engaged in PhD studies at the Toronto School of Theology, University of Toronto. When time permits, Jason enjoys skiing, biking, playing hockey, and road tripping with the family.
Erika and Jason have long held the dream of working together as equals in church ministry. They are thrilled that Blue Mountain Community Church has warmly embraced them as a team and they are looking forward to serving in and with this community in the coming years.
Administrator, Melinda Camplin, has been part of BMCC since childhood and can answer pretty much any question you have about the church. She’s available by phone, email or in the church office on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
